About 2 Days in Barcelona
Hi, I'm Joan. I've lived in Barcelona for 16 years, in Poblenou, a neighborhood by the sea that most visitors never reach. I'm not Catalan by birth, but after all this time I feel barcelonés. My days are split between teaching and this city, and this website is where the two meet.
Why this site exists
Friends kept asking me the same question: I have two days in Barcelona, what do I do? After answering it for the tenth time over coffee, I started writing it down. That is really all this site is. The itineraries, the restaurants, the tips about queues and metro lines are the same ones I give to people I care about when they visit.
How I work
I only recommend what I can stand behind. Before a page goes live I check opening hours, prices and access rules against the official sources, and I come back to them when something tells me they have moved. What I cannot promise is a systematic check of every price every week, because I am one person. Prices in particular go out of date quietly, so take the ones here as a rough guide and trust the checkout screen instead. I do not copy other guides, I do not invent reviews, and nobody pays me to place their business here. If that ever changes for a specific page, it will say so clearly on that page.
How this site makes money
Some links on this site are affiliate links, mostly to tours and tickets on Viator. If you book through one of them I may earn a commission, at no extra cost to you. That commission is what pays for the hosting and the time I put into keeping this site up to date. It never decides what I recommend: if a tour is not worth your two days, no commission will put it on these pages. Prices shown are "from" prices and can change at any time.
A friendly but important disclaimer
This is a personal blog. Everything you read here is my personal opinion and general travel information, not professional advice of any kind. I do my best to keep it accurate, but I am one person and Barcelona changes fast, so please treat this site as a starting point, not as a guarantee.
In plain words, this means:
This is not an official website. I am not affiliated with the Sagrada Familia, Park Güell, FC Barcelona or any other attraction, monument, institution or brand mentioned on this site. All trademarks and names belong to their respective owners and are used only to describe places and services.
Details change without notice. Opening hours, prices, timetables and access rules are checked when I write or update a page, but they can change at any moment. Always confirm the essentials on the official website of the attraction before you buy or travel. I cannot guarantee that every detail is accurate or complete at the moment you read it.
Bookings happen on third-party platforms. When you book a tour or ticket through a link on this site, your contract is with the booking platform or the tour operator, not with me. Their terms, cancellation rules and customer service apply. I am not the provider of any tour, ticket or service listed here.
External links are outside my control. I link to sites I consider useful, but I am not responsible for their content, availability or practices.
Limitation of liability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, I accept no liability for any loss, damage, cost or inconvenience arising from the use of this site or from decisions made based on its content. You use the information here at your own risk.
